Edward J. Villarreal, 37, of Elgin died Monday, February 16, 2009 at St. Alexius Medical Center. Born in Elk Grove Village on January 18, 1972, he was the son of Oscar and Maria Carmen (Rodriguez) Villarreal.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Villarreal.

Edward is survived by his children; Ashley, Zane and Grace; mother, Maria Carmen Villarreal; brothers, Oscar (Robin) Villarreal and Jaime Villarreal; and niece, Justine; and his loving fiancé, Denise Caruso, and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held at O’Connor – Leetz Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2009 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Elgin, Pastor Edward Seisser, presiding.
